A lovely Hornsea (England) mug with "The Worlds Best Mother' wording and comic stylised retro imagery.

John Clappison design. British made. Stamped with Hornsea logo to the base.

Black and white print over pale peachy pink glazed ceramic.
Circa mid 1970s. From a series of collectable 'Worlds Best' mugs.

The image shows mum in her rollers doing the piles of washing up.

No chips or marks or cracks etc. No crazing. Very clean.
Fab, collectable, hardly-touched condition.
Hard to find these in this excellent condition.
