A lovely Hornsea (England) mug with "The Worlds Best Father' wording and comic stylised retro imagery.

John Clappison design. British made. Stamped with Hornsea logo to the base.

Black and white print over pale warm corn yellow glazed ceramic.
Circa mid 1970s. From a series of collectable 'Worlds Best' mugs.

The image shows dad being lazy on his chair, drinking wine, smoking his pipe and watching the TV!

No chips or marks or cracks etc. No crazing. Very clean.
Fab, collectable, hardly-touched condition.
Hard to find these in this excellent condition.
(The blob of paint photographed on the base has now come off with my fingernail, base is perfect).

Apx 9cm tall x 8cm diameter (excluding handle).
