A set of four egg cups by Hornsea, England, from the brown Heirloom range. Designed by John Clappison for Hornsea in the late 1960s - these are circa mid 1970s.

A harder to find set with the original egg-cup stand/tray. Pottery/ceramic with distinctive warm brown glaze with matt black design. The eggcups are stamped to their bases, the tray is not. An original complete set. (Can also be used as mustard pots, condiments pots, baby cacti flower pots, etc.)

Good condition. If you look very closely there are a few teeny rim imperfections. The tones of brown vary slightly, see photos. No noticeable crazing. But this is all about the tray, they tray is great!
