A lovely Hornsea Heirloom shorter round cylindrical storage jar/canister in Autumn Brown. Black impressed pattern with glossy rich tan brown glaze - John Clappison design, British made. Stamped with the 1970s Hornsea logo on the base, dating it exactly to 1974.

The jar is in very good useable condition with no chips, nice and clean. The wooden lid is very good for the age, but has a splinter missing internally. It maintains its original seal and still forms a very good airtight seal. Great for display and use. Perfect for your retro kitchen.

11cm tall with lid on, 11.8cm diameter.
