A lovely Hornsea Heirloom shorter round cylindrical storage jar/canister in Midnight Blue. Matt black impressed pattern with glossy rich deep blue glaze - a John Clappison design, British made. Stamped with the older style round Hornsea logo on the base (hard to make out), dating it to the late 1960s.

The jar is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, nice and clean. The wooden lid is very good for the age. It maintains its original seal and still forms a good airtight seal. Great for display and use. Perfect for your retro kitchen - a nice example, see photos.
