Hermanova glassworks 20218 Pavel Panek glass vase, Sklo Union, Czech/Bohemian. 70s vintage. Large clear vase, spikey studs/cones. Tall 26cm

This moulded art glass vase was designed by Pavel Panek and made at the Czech factory, Hermanova Glassworks, Sklo Union.
The design dates from 1972, so circa 1970s vintage.

It's clear glass with a nicely rounded rim and a typical Sklo baseline.
It has a series of moulded mounts/points in lines down the cylindrical vase.
Catches the light beautifully.

This is the largest example in the 20218 pressed glass series by Panek - standing 26cm tall and weighing close to 1.7kg.

Excellent condition with no chips/nibbles. A few internal 'specks of dust' from time of manufacture.

Quite a retro statement!
