Handmade Modernist sterling silver 925 ring, size N. Green round peridot stone, wide band. Vintage mid century retro style. Bezel box set

A stylish unisex Modernist handmade Sterling Silver ring...

Unknown vintage, could be 1970s onwards (certainly of that style). Handmade with no marker's marks or silver stamps - unknown artist, possibly a student piece. Likely to be British and 925 silver.

The central stone is a round cut peridot, I believe. The semi-precious stone is a yellowy olive green, it's part of the olivine family. Peridot is the birthstone for the month of August, and is also given to celebrate the 16th year of marriage. The stone is set up high in a quarter bezel or rounded box type setting, the setting is the same width as the flat straight simple band, see photos. The silver band is 6mm wide; the stone in its setting is 6mm.

It's a UK size N 1/2, please check that it should fit you (not adjustable). It weighs 4 grams.

Very good vintage condition. Looks beautiful on - simple, presentable, funky and retro.
