Gold tone vintage Brutalist/Modernist pendant & necklace. 1960s/1970s retro metal 3D organic ovals/circles. Costume jewellery + 28" chain

A stunning vintage gold coloured necklace... It is a bunch of organic-like oval shapes, clustered in a Brutalist style. The shapes are asymmetric ovals with linear textures, like starbursts, and an off-centre hole. There are five clusters of fixed shapes which hang in a U-shape, joined with links which make the shapes move - it's lightly articulated. The costume jewellery piece is typical of the 1960s or 1970s era.

The layers and shapes make the pendant 3D and fascinating. The statement pendant end is roughly 10 x 7cm when being worn. The chain is a gold coloured rope chain with spring ring. The chain is 24" but with the pendant the necklace is 28-29" long total. Cast gold tone metal / coated with a gold finish, the gold finish is a bronzy gold (rather than a bright yellow). No maker's marks or stamps that I can see.

Very good vintage condition, very wearable... quite a fabulous retro statement!
