A stunning vintage gold coloured brooch.

It is a bunch of straight lightly-textured 'spikes' in a randomly layered starburst, forming a roughly round shape. There are small asymmetric rounded shapes (O shapes) randomly placed, mostly towards the ends of the rods. It is a Brutalist style retro costume jewellery piece - typical of the 1960s or 1970s era.

The irregular layers and shapes make it 3D, apx 43mm x 43mm x 10mm (excluding pin). Cast gold tone metal / coated with a gold finish, excellent bright pale gold (rather than a bright yellow), with no signs of wear. Photos make it look more yellow, it's slightly more peachy in tone. Roll-over pin on reverse works well. Stamped on the back with 'BR1'... see photos.

An excellent example with no missing colour. Fab shiny condition, very wearable... a retro statement!
