A 1960s very hard to find Norwegian stoneware tankard/beer stein by Figgjo Flint.
Not sure exactly who the design is by.

Stoneware has an overall finish of pale cream colour in and out, with a black, mustard yellow and lime green stylised print/transfer.
The imagery is of four people in a motor car - please study photos, it's so pretty and typically retro Norway.

Excellent condition with no chips, crazing, scratches, marks.
Base has a feint '1647' indented in and is the only place with a few signs of the era.
13cm tall x 9cm wide at base, tapering into 7.7cm at rim.
Holds exactly 500ml.

More ornamental than a practical beer stein!
