A hard to find vintage and collectable Figgjo Flint (Norway) ornamental side plate. Just the Boy on the Apple plate is left available for sale now (shown on photo 1).

It's a rounded-off square shape ceramic plate, with a stylised Scandinavian design of a boy with fruit. He's pictured with cherries and leaves on an apple slice - Corsican fruits. This 'Corsica' collection was designed by Turi Gramstad Oliver. Off-white background glaze, with areas of olivey brown, purple, magenta and pale blue - these coloured areas are hand painted within the screen-printed black outlines. Stamped to the reverse with the Turi-Design logo, over an faded green Figgjo Flint logo. Circa 1960s mid century.

The flat plate is has curved olive brown sides - perfectly useable as a small plate, but better as a collectable ornament. 19.5cm wide at the widest point x 2cm deep.

Excellent condition, I don't think it has been used as a plate.
