A tall and striking retro 1970s/1980s vacuum flask. Made by Emsa design, West Germany.

Pure pop design - perfect for a plastic-fantastic 70s/80s pad. The hot water/tea/coffee storing and serving jug is lined with glass, just like an insulated Thermos flask, and will keep your drink piping hot for ages (tested for 12 hours and it was still very hot!). The neat screw top lid with rubber seal forms a seal, and just needs loosening or removing to pour.

Stamped to base with "Emsa Design. Made in W. Germany". Off-white/ivory finish with minimalist black plastic trim. A tall perfect cylinder shape, 31.5cm high x 9.8cm diameter. It's around 700ml capacity, so over 1 pint... enough for 2 to 3 mugs of coffee.

Very good condition for age and era. A couple of surface marks but not many scratches, see pics. Pours and stores really well, fully functional. Great for display and for serving coffee in a your retro man-cave or out in the Campervan!
