A Dartington Glass VIN carafe/decanter designed by Frank Thrower in 1975, so from the Seventies era. Model no FT196, it was also known as 'The Wine Carafe'. It's sandblasted on one side with 'vin' (wine) in a stylised retro stencil font. Has its original cork which forms a good seal (looks to be unused). It comes in its original box, with fab original graphics, and also has its original care instructions too. Fab designer minimalist and retro shape, high quality item.

Excellent clean condition, it has hardly been used. Heavy thick glass with lead crystal content. No chips, nibbles. Base is excellent.

20.5cm (with cork in) x 13cm. Heavy - 1kg. It holds around 1 litre.
