Dartington VIN decanter/carafe. Clear glass, Frank Thrower 1975, FT196. Wine holder/server. Retro/vintage dining/drinking.

A Dartington VIN carafe/decanter designed by Frank Thrower in 1975, so from the Seventies era.
It's sandblasted on one side with 'vin' (wine) in a stylised retro stencil font.
Has its original cork (missing a few nibbles as you'd expect for 40 years old), but still forms a good seal.

Fab designer shape, high quality item.

Excellent usable clean condition.
Heavy thick glass with lead crystal content.
No chips, nibbles, marks.
Base is good with minimal signs of age as you'd expect.

20.5cm (with cork in) x 13cm.
Heavy - 1.3kg.
