A super pair of Dartington Ripple 24% lead crystal individual fruit/salad bowls/dishes designed by Frank Thrower. Each bowl is 10.5cm at the rim wide, about 11.5cm wide max, and round shaped with twisted rippled sides. They're the FT287/3 bowls (11.5 x 7cm) perfect for desserts, trifles, salads, nuts/nibbles etc. The design dates from 1981 and is part of the Ripple Collection. Handmade. Made in Dartington, England. Circa 1980s.

Original box - in really good condition considering the age. Great retro 1980s artwork/photo. Comes with two original cleaning and care leaflets too, suggesting the bowls were not taken out of their box very often - maybe just for best. They catch the light beautifully!

Excellent collectable boxed examples - hardly used. These were slight seconds as they have bubbles internally. They would have had a red stickers rather than a gold ones. No chips or grazes. High quality. Heavy lead crystal - weighs 900g boxed.
