Dartington Frank Thrower FT147 sugar bowl & cream jug set. Vintage 1970s boxed. Handmade 1972 design. Clear crystal glass dish and milk jug

An original vintage early 1970s sugar bowl and cream jug, designed by Frank Thrower and handmade for Dartington, Torrington, Devon, England. The design originated in 1972 and is FT147. It is boxed and in virtually untouched condition, even maintaining the box's inner card, tissue paper and care instructions.

Round squat sugar bowl is 5.5 tall x 7.7cm wide. Tall slim milk or cream jug is 10cm tall x 4.3cm wide at base. It has a curly looped handle. Excellent examples with no signs of use. The box is in great condition for age with lovely retro graphics, and has an 'B' quality stamp to the base - these would have left the factory with the red stickers rather than the gold stickers.
