Dartington Daisy Cheese platter plate FT214, boxed. Frank Thrower handmade crystal art glass. 1970s vintage retro. 10" cake, snacks, serving

A vintage Dartington crystal Daisy Cheese Platter designed by Frank Thrower. A sizeable 10" wide and round shaped, it's suited for cakes, cheeses, nibbles, etc. Design no FT215, the design dates from 1977 and is part of the Daisy Collection which included a smaller 7" butter plate too. Quality 24% lead crystal content, moulded and mouth blown with original faded black sticker. The black sticker dates it from 1970-1980 and was considered 'second class' quality at the time (it has tiny air bubbles and one inclusion). .

Platter is great for the age with no scratches. Glass has a flat and smooth upper and textured beneath with a daisy flower indented. Original card envelope box is in average condition with discolourations and marks. A nice boxed example, 26cm diameter.

Includes P&P to the UK.
