A super Dartington crystal Daisy platter designed by Frank Thrower. 7" wide and round shaped, it's the Butter Platter, but just as suited for small cakes, cheeses, etc. Design no FT214, the design dates from 1977 and is part of the Daisy Collection which included a larger 10" cheese plate too. Quality lead crystal, heavy and mould blown.

It has the original gold sticker, denoting 1st class quality and dating it to pre-1980. Original envelope box, in very good condition considering age. It also comes with a cleaning instruction paper - the first sentence starts with "Due to the ever increasing use of dishwashing machines..." Glass has a flat and smooth upper and textured beneath with a daisy flower indented.

An excellent collectable boxed example - hardly used.
