Dansk silver plated spiral candlestick. Vintage candelabra by Bertil Vallien, 1965. Modernist candle holder, Mid Century Modern MCM, 60s/70s

A stunning and striking candelabra centre piece/conversation piece.

The design was by Swede Bertil Vallien in the mid 60s. (He did a lot of work for Kosta Boda).
It is a Modernist spiral form, heavy solid metal that's silver plated.
Twelve small holes for tall thin candles - thought to be for the 12 Days of Christmas.

Stamped on the base - unusually - with 'Dansk designs China BV' and 'EPZ'.
These were more commonly made in Japan and France, so the China ones must have been from a particular period.

Circa 1970s.
A few small signs of age, but overall in great displayable shiny reflective condition.
Perfect for a Mid Century interior.

13cm tall x 12cm wide max.
Weighty vintage piece - just shy of 1kg.

Price includes P&P.
