A vintage Mid Century Danish candlestick. It's turned reddy hardwood, most likely teak. Circa 1960s/1970s vintage.

Not stamped to the base but undoubtedly Danish. Handmade / turned wood in a 'tulip' shape with narrow neck. A tall slim 29cm x 4.5cm wide max. Brass inner holder is suited to holding a standard tapered dinner candle (apx 2.1cm wide).

Good condition for 40+ years old with a couple of small signs of age on very close inspection, mostly around the rim. A few subtle indents to the hardwood body. The rim has a few nibbles and a hard to spot small crack line. A natural satin sheen. Please see all photos.

Very stylish, and perfect for display in a Mid-century, retro or contemporary home.
