Crayonne vintage LP album vinyl holder. Retro 1970s/1980s red plastic filing rack, storage. Terence Conran, Habitat. Pop modernist 7" & 12"
An original retro Crayonne record storage system. Crayonne was Sir Terence Conran's branded simple and stylish designer everyday moulded hard plastic items for Habitat stores in the 1970s to 1980s (ish). I reckon this is 1980s - a later colour way.
A lovely rigid plastic or melamine-like glossy deep brick-red unit. Quarter circle shape with two sub-dividers internally, creating three zones... striking smart design! The red is a browny red - brick or terracotta red. Untested, but I reckon it would hold about 30 vinyls. Would also hold 7" singles (or magazines) perfectly. These units look stunning fitted back to back together, forming a semicircle shape.
Very good condition for the age with no cracks, chips, splits or big scratches. Minimal surface marks - shown from all angles. 26 x 26 x 12.5cm.
Price includes P&P to the UK.
