Crayonne vintage LP album vinyl holder. Retro 1970s/1980s cream plastic filing rack, storage. Terence Conran, Habitat. Pop modernist 7" 12"
An original retro Crayonne record storage system. Crayonne was Sir Terence Conran's branded simple and stylish designer everyday moulded hard plastic items for Habitat stores in the 1970s to 1980s. This is circa 1980s vintage.
A lovely rigid plastic or melamine-like glossy unit. Quarter circle shape with two sub-dividers internally, creating three zones... striking smart design! The cream is an off-white ivory tone.
Untested, but I reckon it would hold about 30 vinyls. Would also hold 7" singles (or magazines) perfectly. These units look stunning fitted back to back together, forming a semicircle shape.
Good condition for the age with no cracks, chips, splits. Some fine surface marks and scuffs, as many have. It has a moulding imperfection on the bottom right-angled corner (I had another that had exactly the same mark so I know it's a trait from manufacture). 26 x 26 x 12.5cm.
Price includes P&P to the UK.
