Chance Glass Honeysuckle 'fruit set', boxed. Dessert/Fruit bowls in box. 1970, Peter Tysoe, lilac & turquoise abstract flower pattern Retro

A hard to find design, honeysuckle, this is a boxed set from around 1970.
I think it was designed by Peter Tysoe, and it is beautiful abstract floral design in lilac and turquoise.

The set consists of 6 small fruit/dessert/pudding bowls and a large serving/fruit/trifle/vegetable serving bowl.
All in their original presentation box, with original inner supports and cardboard divides.

Box is in great condition for age - it's thick cardboard and sturdy and would probably have been the shop-keeper's presentation display box. It has wonderful graphics and reads: "Fruit Set, 1 Fruit Bowl, 6 Individual Fruit Bowls. Chance Glass. A member of the Pilkington Group. This is a Display box, see rear panel for assembly instructions. Fold and Tuck Lid into back of base to display contents."

The large fruit bowl is 22cm x 5cm tall.
The 6 smaller matching fruit bowls are 13.5 x 3.5cm tall.
All have a slight undulating rim and are slightly off-round.
All have gold gilt edges, some gold shows signs of wear.

No chips or fleebites - really unusual to find for Chance Glass.
No obvious marks, scratches, or imperfections to the design print.

Box is sizeable at 33 x 38 x 8cm. All inner supporting card bits are thick sturdy cardboard.

I'd say 'excellent collectable condition' and hard to find in a presentation box that may well be a 1970 retro one-off.
Perfect for a collector!
