Brutalist gold tone & blue brooch. 1960s 1970s vintage retro metal, rough textured spiky branches. Modernist faux sapphire costume jewellery

A stunning vintage gold-tone brooch... It is a series of random spiky textured and layered branches with ten small blue faux gemstones (glass). It is a Brutalist style (irregular with jagged edges/shapes and unpredictable) costume jewellery piece - typical of the 1960s or 1970s era. The random layers and shapes make the striking brooch 3D and fascinating, mimicking much more expensive gold and sapphire pieces.

Roughly 4cm x 4cm. Cast gold tone metal/coated with a gold finish. Roll-over pin to the reverse works ok. Unknown maker. Lovely condition with no loss of colour or stones to the front. Please see all photos.
