Black and white Jasba West German crackle glazed pottery vase/pitcher/jug, 211/15. Cortina decor, retro. Vintage 60s/70s fat lava ceramic.

A crackle/shrink glazed 'fat lava' pottery jug/pitcher/vase which I believe to be by Jasba Ceramics, West Germany - Cortina decor. Glossy black glaze underneath with matte white crackle textured overlay. Apx 1960s vintage, though the design/technique dates from 1955.

Stamped on base - '211/15 Germany' - I can't find shape like it with this glaze. The curvy pot-bellied pitcher jug/vase is 15cm tall x 10cm wide. Stylised pointy rimmed jug shape - typical of the era. The black glazed opening for water/stems is narrow, so only suitable for a couple of statement stems. Lightly 'fat lava' textured outer.

No chips, excellent displayable and collectable condition. Nice bright white clean glaze.
Some small marks in the inner black spout which I believe are from manufacture.

Price includes P&P to the UK.
