Bjorn Wiinblad for Nymolle, Denmark. Two small dishes, spoon rest. Vintage/retro mid century ceramic. Red lovers, Winter & Summer dish 1960s

A pair of small dishes, produced by Nymolle, Denmark, with a typically stylised design by Danish artist Bjorn Wiinblad (1918-2006).

The pieces are 'Winter' and 'Summer' and depict a pair of lovers in the same scene 6 months apart: on a horse and sledge and on a horse and carriage. Model numbers 3020-251 b (summer) and 3020-251 d (winter). The print is deep red over a pale grey glazed fine ceramic or porcelain. Circa 1960s or 1970s vintage.

Very good condition. The summer one has a tiniest speck of missing glaze to the edge (top left). Stamped with logos and information to reverse, along with 'W' for Wiinblad. The pieces are a small 7.5 x 5.3 x 1.2cm... ideal as a spoon rest or a dipping sauce dish, or perfect for a Bjorn Wiinblad collector.
