A set of four art wall-hanging plates by Heljä Liukko-Sundström, a Finnish ceramics designer who worked for Arabia, Finland.

A series of square glazed scenes on small rounded blue plates, showing the four seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Circa mid 1980s vintage.

Designed as wall plaques or ornamental plates (hole for hanging thread to the reverse). They're a matt fine white pottery/ceramic, with the glossy square design printed to the front and likely hand painted in/hand finished. Signed (stamped) to the reverse with the season, 'Design Heljä Liukko-Sundström' and the Arabia Finland logo. Beautifully designed and stylised designs. The plates are handmade and off-round so have some flatter sides.

All come with their original boxes. Very good, unused, but some scuffs to the top of the matt blue where the Spring and Winter boxes have been folded in/from storage.
