A funky retro and highly collectable serving plate by English Ironstone Tableware, from the Fish Series set.
"Aquarius" is a series of different brightly coloured stylised fish - this one is the yellow with purple fish.
I also have the purple with yellow one.
Intended as a large fish dinner serving plate.
Circa 1970s.

The fish series is like the Beefeater series of plates, but harder to come by.

Apx 28 x 24 x 2.5cm (slightly raised sides).
Squared off oval shape.
Stamped to back with "Aquarius (FISH SERIES), English Ironstone Tableware by Washington Pottery, Staffordshire, England".

Excellent displayable, highly collectable condition with no chips.
Not sure it has been used, no scratches or knife marks.
Print is really clear and crisp.
There's a slight mark to the reverse.
