A striking art glass vase, by Per-Olof Strom for Alsterfors, Sweden. Dating from the late 1960s or early 1970s it has a vivid ruby red inner and is cased in clear glass. It is round and cylindrical with distinctive straight uppers and lowers, a rounded central hoop/ring with curved concave areas in between. It is pattern number S5000. Mouth blown in to a mould. Unsigned.

A small to medium sized 20.7cm tall x 6.7cm wide.

Excellent condition for age/era. All I can find is 2 tiny surface dots about an inch up from the base. The red is less transparent towards the base. Stunning on display!
