4 retro 1980s Insulex insulated cups mugs. Vintage 1970s metallic blue plastic + white. Kitchen drinks, tea coffee. Teal/peacock/petrol, 4"

A set of hard to find Insulex plastic insulated tall mugs, circa 1970s to 1980s vintage.

The mugs have an insulated design with a sealed air void between the layers. With the clever sealed void design of the mugs, they would keep drinks hot or cold for a long period. They're a deep blue colour hard plastic, which due to the layering looks metallic. The blue is teal or peacock or petrol blue. They have a white trim.

Each apx 10.8cm high x 7.8cm wide (excluding handles). 300ml or 1 standard 'cup' measure. The base of the mugs read: 'Insulex, Made in England, Pats pend'g. Registered design'. I would only hand wash these.

All very good condition with not many signs of age/use. Perfect as a splash of colour for a retro or teal coloured room or Campervan. Super retro set!
