4 Holmegaard Princess white wine glasses. Bent O Severin 1957 Kastrup, Denmark. Danish Scandinavian mid century. Barware drinks 13.7cm, 5.5"
A set of four vintage white wine glasses in the 'Princess' design by Bent O. Severin, for Holmegaard, Denmark. The design dates from 1957, and they were in production until 1995 (on and off). These are most likely to be 1960s/1970s vintage. They all have the same 'tone' of glass so would be from the same age and era. The princess design features a teardrop shaped controlled bubble within the solid glass stem. Crystal content glass.
Many thanks to Hardernet.dk for the last screenshot - these appear to be the 13.7cm tall versions of the design. They are all 13.7-13.8cm tall x 6.1-6.3cm wide at the soft rim. They're classed a wine glass, but they're about 100-110ml, so slightly smaller than 'a small glass of wine', probably more a for a stronger dessert wine. Unsigned. Being handmade they vary very slightly, see photos.
Excellent collectable and usable examples. Perfect to go in your retro home bar.
Includes P&P to the UK.
