2 Beth Breyen Aluminia/Royal Copenhagen 'Crazy Bird' pin dishes. Tenera #1355 Modernist/mid century. Vintage 1960s. Danish egg-shaped plates

Two Beth Breyen 'Crazy Bird' small dishes, made for Aluminia / Royal Copenhagen (they have the Aluminia logo). Model no 1355, we have colours #108/1355 (yellow and plum) and #109/1355 (orange and deep blue). From Denmark, circa 1960s vintage.

Porcelain, glazed off-white with the black crazy birds quirky black outlines printed on. They have been hand painted over with the splashes of colour - typical Scandi graphics of the era. Stamped/signed to the reverses with the decorator's initials, model numbers and the logo. Small, simple, crazy - apx 9.5 x 6.5cm x 1.5cm each. Good vintage condition, as you can see the yellow one has a vintage chip to the bottom middle. These small egg-shaped pin dishes are more for fun/display than for use.

Danish/Scandinavian in style, and great for a mid century collector.
