1980s Bodum Bistro four black glass coffee cups, Carsten Jorgensen. 4 glass tea cups/mugs & cork coasters set. Vintage retro Danish design

A Bodum set of four glass coffee/tea cups, taken from the Bistro Set, designed by Carsten Jorgensen, set #K1528. Vintage Danish minimalist design, made in Switzerland. Circa late 1980s to mid 1990s vintage, this is the black colour-coded set.

The set consists of four matching coffee glasses with black plastic handles, Bodum original stickers and Bodum branding underneath and four original natural cork coasters. The designs are simple, minimalist with 80s post-modernist vibes.

Excellent, clean and fully-functional condition. The four original stickers being intact would suggest they haven't been used. Cups are cylindrical and 8.5cm tall x 7.2cm wide at the turned out lip (roughly 200ml or 7oz). Cork mats are 8cm wide.

They come in the original retro (aged) box, missing the cafetiere. They are all easy to clean through the dishwasher (cups can come apart) and the heat-proof glass is hardwearing and durable like Pyrex.

A touch of retro class for a Sunday morning...
