A stylish unisex Modernist/Brutalist 1975 fully hallmarked Sterling Silver and garnet ring...

A super flat-topped ring vintage ring, mounted with a garnet. The upper is set with a faceted garnet (very deep red), held with a simple four prong claw. The linear bark textured upper and pierced openwork shoulders and sides are all typically 1970s - with a Modernist simple slim band and Brutalist style textures. It's fully hallmarked 'LDP' (the maker) then the anchor and lion stamps for Sterling Silver Birmingham, and the date letter 'A' for 1975. The silver is British 925 grade.

It's a UK size N, please check that it should fit you (not adjustable). It weighs 4 grams. The flat band is slimline and elegant (it tapers from 7mm widest to 5mm wide at its narrowest). The stone is about 5mm wide. The upper flat bark textured surface is 12x7mm - quite petite and perfect for a slimmer frame.

Excellent condition. Looks beautiful on - the photos don't do it justice. Very presentable, funky and retro, and a perfect gift idea... Perfect now for a 45th birthday!
