1970s retro ceramic box, dressing table accessory. Vintage blue flower power container. Lidded makeup, soap & eau de toilet dish. Bathroom

A 1960s or 1970s vintage Eau De Toilet and Soap ceramic container box.... It would have been a fancy gift box with branded bathroom goodies inside from back in the day.

It has an original label, I can just make out '9125 30ml E.D.O. and 90g toilet soap'. It would have been one of those older brands like Yardley, Avon, Estee Lauder, Lancome etc, and may well have been made by Wade or similar. I've not been able to identify the brands.

It's a ceramic lidded container, ideal as a jewellery, makeup or trinket box. The lid is sky blue with abstract flower decor and the base is very dark navy blue. It's 17 x 5cm, rectangular, with two rounded corners. Internally it's 15 x 11 x 3cm.

It's in good vintage condition. There are two small baseline chips along the clay line. The finish is a bit rough around the edges and a bit thin on glaze, from time of manufacture. The bottom part has a slither of missing glaze up on the rim near the sticker. And the flower-power print on top is a little patchy in places, see all pics.

It's a nice retro dish, a curiosity.
