1970s Black aluminium Modernist pendant & necklace + brooch. Vintage retro costume jewellery. 28" chain, minimalist blackened/engraved metal

An unusual retro 1970s pendant and chain, plus a similar brooch...

The metal pendant is thin flat rounded rectangular shape with a smooth satin black finish. It has lightly rounded edges and a hand drawn/engraved pattern through the black to the bright silver/white metal below. It is Scandinavian, Modernist and Minimalist in style. I'm assuming the metal is aluminium as it's bright, lightweight and relatively soft (lighter colour than steel or pewter). No maker's marks, but skillfully handmade. Pendant is about 49x36mm. Silver tone chain is typically 70s with large links and no opening, forming a 28" slip-on necklace - so quite long. The pendant sits just below heart height. It's not heavy or chunky, more slimline retro statement.

The brooch is very similar - it's a thin rounded square shape with the smooth satin black finish. It is slightly concave with lightly rounded edges and a carefully engraved precise cross pattern through the black to the bright silver/white metal below. It is also Scandinavian, Modernist and Minimalist in style. I would also assume the metal is aluminium. No maker's marks. Brooch is about 46x46mm. The pin works well; the pin is set at a diagonal angle.

Both very good condition, vintage 1970s (or so), very wearable... See photos. Comes in one presentation box. The two pieces are from different sources but work very well together as a pair.
