A beautiful and PERFECT Midwinter Glendale lidded condiments pot, circa 1953.
White glazed pottery with lovely leaf/flower imagery designed by John Russell in the early 50s.
Imagery is in turquoise/teal/duck egg tones with a splash of yellowy lime leaf.
White pot has a silver line around the rim. Lid in matching teal has room for a spoon and is also perfect.
It's probably part of the Stylecraft Fashion series, but i can't tell without finding another one out there for reference!
It's a rare piece and typical of its time.
Base has a logo style dated to about 1953 and says "Midwinter England Staffordshire".
