A rare and hard-to-find Hornsea Heirloom Lakeland Green pot - but with no pattern!!
The Hornsea Museaum have told me "Yes this is the Heirloom colour and it is a storage Jar. This is a trial piece hence the lack of pattern."

So it's likely to be dated from before the patterened pots, maybe 1970/71.
It has the round logo on the base.

Same sizing at the tea/coffee/sugar containers of the early 70s, same lid. 25cm tall x 12cm round.

It's excellent conditon, no chips, cracks etc. A fantastic collectable, unusual and hard-to-find example from the Heirloom series.
